Basic/Experienced Motorcycle Rider Course — Live Free Ride Alive
This video describes the Basic Rider Course (BRC), which introduces beginner riders to the fundamentals of motorcycling and basic safety and keeps older riders up-to-date -- especially those who haven't ridden in a while. The courses include five hours of classroom instruction and 10 hours of on-bike instruction, conducted in a parking lot (if you don't have a bike and/or helmet, one will be provided). The final evaluation is a written, multiple choice knowledge test and an end-of-course skills test. This course is free for all Pennsylvania residents with a valid motorcycle license or motorcycle learner's permit.
