- August 4, 2007 With the rains coming down on Athens (Full Moon Series) it was way early to see them rained out, but they did so we packed up the King Cobra of Texas circus and moved north the North 40 MX park where they were putting on a little Arena Cross racing. Not many 50cc bikes on hand, in fact just 4, but it was fun for the kids. The first race 50cc7-8 had some wheel to wheel action with Hunter Budd in the lead and Mathew Mahery giving chase. Mathew Mehary took a solid second, but he was noticeably fast and his jumps were perfect. With Colton having some bike trouble in the Open race, it left the door open for Jason Norman to make it a Cobra sweep in both classes. In all it was a fun evening of racing, no pressure, no points, just riding for fun and they had lots of it.

- 23 July 07 Badlands MX was next on the schedule with the full moon series in full swing the night brought on some excellent upfront racing with Tyler and Mathew really putting on a show, but Hunter Budd was on the charge to keep them honest. With the series resident Polini racer Hunter Poarch on hand and the orange crush racer Zane Marrett  in the mix it was a real fight for 3-5 and it could have gone to any racer.  In the end Tyler Sudderth took the overall, with Mathew Mehary on his heals, taking the 2nd. Hunter Budd ended with 4th after Hunter Poarch made the pass for 3rd. In the Open class, Hunter Budd and Zane Merrett really made it interesting. Sudderth’ took the overall, but the battle was for 2nd. Hunter got the short end of the win, but not due to lack of effort.

- 12 June 07 After a night long drive to North Texas MX Park the tired riders prepared for what seemed at first to be a muddy mess, with the rain that fell early at the track, everyone was worried about the conditions. It soon came clear that the track had been properly prepared for the weather and the riders soon learned that a little water on clay equals traction city. Hunter and Mathew were the racers to beat again. Hunter took the Holeshots in the motos and Mathew got the first moto wins in both the 50 INT and the 50 Open, but everyone knows it only counts in the second moto, so Hunter put his throttle down and took yet another spoiler from Mehary in a race that was again a sight to see. Mehary rode super hard and the races between the 2 have been nothing shot of exciting to watch. Mehary took 2nd overall, but just by a wheel. We look for more action from these 2 riders in the near future.

- 11 June 07 Mother Nature finally cut Texas some slack and the King Cobra of Texas race team was out in force. Saturday it was the FMF series at FreeStone MX Park. The racing was exciting as the usual front runners set themselves apart from the crowded gate. Tyler Sudderth (Cob 318) put a show on, with Mathew Mehary (Cob 98) and Hunter Budd (Cob 399) swapped roost a few times,
